Ontario Farmland Preservation offers first hand experience, resources and organization to interested parties in the preservation of Ontario’s farmland.

We will work with the public, developers, government and concerned agencies to protect the food producing land that we are borrowing from our children.

  1. As a rural resident of Simcoe County I cannot stress enough my concern about the systematic destruction of some of the most important agricultural land in this great country of ours. Productive farms that are close to the most densely populated area in Canada and have fed these people for more than 100 years are being turned into asphault deserts and the proud farmers are being treated as second class neighbours. This has to stop or our children will never know the sweet taste of a locally grown vegetable. Lee Gillis
